Not surprisingly, yesterday took its toll and we all fought fatigue today. As a result, we took it easy. Ollie and I went for an early Velib through the back streets of our quarter before buying breakfast to take home. After breakfast, Ollie went back to bed while we went to the Musée d'Orsay. It was closed for strike. We then walked across the river to the Musée de l'Orangerie to see the water lilies. The weather was again perfect. After an hour, we went home to wake up Ollie and get ready for lunch. We wandered around the corner to the Mirama chinois restaurant where we had a feast of duck, pork and green vegetables. In the afternoon, we took the metro to Pigalle in the north of the city and walked the short distance to Montmartre where we re-visited the Two Windmills café. We then walked around before coming back home for steak and salad and another early night.
